Map

December 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Two parallel linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 5040 1515. Too little is visible for any overall interpretation to be made, and as the cropmarks are visible on only one set of aerial photographs the possibility that they are of recent agricultural origin cannot be ruled out. Finds of various dates, including prehistoric flints (NHER 34028) and Roman coins (NHER 36236), have been recovered from the surrounding area but whether these are associated with the cropmarks is not known.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 21 December 2005.
