Summary

A World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs. It was located alongside a group of glasshouses at the eastern end of Trinity Avenue, Gorleston. It is unlikely that it survives.

A World War Two air raid shelter alongside a series of glasshouses at the eastern end of Trinity Avenue, Gorleston, is visible on aerial photographs. The site is centred on TG 5172 0392. This shelter is visible as an angular, extant earthen covered mound, measuring approximately 6.5m. The shelter was located where 5 Trinity Avenue now stands.
