Map

Brick house on west corner Chapel Lane, with two Dutch gables.
Possibly 17th century.
E. Rose, (NAU) 26 July 1975.

House is 3 bays 2 storeys, with gables on end bays of south facade.
Covered in ivy so not possible to tell if all one date, but lower courses are certainly 17th or 18th century which the style confirms if all original, as appears.
E. Rose, (NAU) 25 May 1983.

This is Listed, see (S1) as late 17th century east wing extended in mid 18th century to form U shape.
19th century door and windows.
Shallow brick piers rise between the bays to first floor windowsill height.
East wing is of flint.
18th century roof.
However, Broadland Council state that the centre section between the two wings, containing the stair, is a 1950s addition and the rear of the house is of the 1920s.
E. Rose (NLA), 22 July 2003.
