Full Description
January 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs within the yard of 15 Pier Walk, Gorleston (S1). The shelter, centred on TG 5290 0388, is visible as an earth covered mound, measuring 3m by 2m, and is probably an Anderson shelter which would have been for the use of the family living in the property.
S. Massey (NMP), 09 January 2006.
