Full Description
January 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs within the garden of 18 Downing Road, Gorleston (S1). The shelter, centred on TG 5240 0380, is visible as an earth covered mound, measuring approximately 3m square, and is probably an Anderson shelter which would have been for the use of the family living in the property.
S. Massey (NMP), 09 January 2006.
