Summary

A Bronze Age socketed axe with four ribs and cast cross and pellet decoration was found in 1974, and in 1997 half a quartzite pebble mace or hammer was recovered. The perforated quartzite object is not closely datable, these objects having been produced from the Mesolithic to the Bronze Age.

Found by [1] on surface of field:
1 Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axehead. Four ribs and cast cross and pellet decoration, looped and single moulding at sub-rectangular socket. See drawing (S1).

1 quartzite pebble mace/hammer (half). See drawing (S4).
Objects of this type are not closely datable, having been found in both Mesolithic and later prehistoric contexts.
