Summary

This pair of rendered and colourwashed brick houses were built in the late 18th century. They have now been converted into two shops and an office. The buildings have two storeys and a dormer attic. There is an original staircase inside No. 123.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Pair of houses, converted to two shops and an office. Late 18th century. Rendered and colourwashed brick. Pantile roof. Two storeys and dormer attic. Four-window range. Rusticated and vermiculated quoins. Two early 20th-century plate-glass shop fronts…Eaves cornice with mutules. Gabled roof with two flat-topped dormers...Internal gable-end stacks to north and south. North gable of flint and brick, the gable head rebuilt.
INTERIOR: No.123 retains a stick-baluster staircase with a ramped and wreathed handrail. Staircase altered in No. 123A."
