Summary

A terrace of three mid-19th-century gault brick houses. They are three storeys high with slate and concrete tile roofs. All the windows and doors are later replacements, although the doorway between the entrances to numbers three and four that leads to the rear of the properties is 19th century.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Terrace of 3 houses. Mid 19th century. Gault brick, No.3 and ground floor of No.5 are colourwashed. Slate and concrete tiled roof.
EXTERIOR: three storeys; six-window range. North front shows each property to be of two bays consisting of a doorway and a full-height canted window bay. All doors are late 20th century...but they are set within doorcases with panelled reveals and cornices. Between doors to Nos 3 and 4 is another panelled reveal and a door leading to passage to rear. This door is 19th-century...Hipped roof, slated to No.5, concrete tiles otherwise. Transverse ridge stack remains between Nos.4 and 5 and there is a second stack on rear roof slope of No.5. West return in three bays. Colourwashed ground floor...
INTERIOR: stick-baluster staircase with a ramped and wreathed handrail."
