Summary

This former farmhouse was built in the early 18th century. There are traces of limewash on the chequered brickwork at each gable end.

Listing Description:
Former farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. Chequered brickwork with traces of limewash and flint in gable ends. Black pantiled roof. Two storeys and four bays of replacement sash windows with glazing bars and horns beneath skewback arches. Evidence for original narrower window openings. Broad ovolo moulded platband. Panelled front door with plain doorcase. Curved gables and gable-end stacks. Later lean-tos to rear. Open string staircase with square knops to turned balusters.
