Summary

A 19th century milestone is located beside The Street. It is made of limestone and stands on a concrete plinth. It features distances to neighbouring villages and to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

February 1988. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description:
19th century milestone. Square limestone shaft on concrete plinth. At the top of each face a shallow pitched gable or pediment. On the east and west faces are the distances to neighbouring villages in incised black lettering in
recessed panels with trefoiled heads. On the north face the distances to the station, Yarmouth and Lowestoft and the inscription 'Toll gate removed 1869'. Corners of shaft probably originally chamfered, but now much weathered and eroded.
