Summary

The Norwich Castle Museum previously held an unprovenanced fragment of ochrous stained flint from Northwold. Although originally recorded as Palaeolithic it was subsequently identified as probably natural and discarded.

1 chipped fragment of ochrous stained flint. Unlikely to be a Palaeolithic artefact, probably natural.
Accessioned by NCM (NWHCM : 1929.153) but subsequently discarded as natural.
