A World War Two pillbox and associated circular structure are visible on 1944 aerial photographs on Pound Lane, Gorleston (S1). The site is centred on TG 5218 0326. The pillbox is hexagonal and a type 22. A possibly circular structure is visible to the immediate south, although it could also be polygonal. The aerial photograph is not clear enough to distinguish the shape with certainty. Both of the structures are gone by 1945 (S2).
