Full Description
January 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs within the rear garden of 205 Lowestoft Road, Gorleston (S1). This shelter is an approximately 3m square earth covered mound and is probably an Anderson shelter, and this would have been for the use of the people living and working in the property. The site is centred on TG 5219 0295.
S. Massey (NMP), 20 January 2006.
