Summary

A World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs within the rear garden of 123 Bell’s Road, Gorleston. This shelter is visible as an earth covered mound, probably an Anderson shelter, and this would have been for the use of the family living in the property.

A World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs within the rear garden of 123 Bell’s Road, Gorleston (S1). This shelter is visible as an earth covered mound, measuring 3m by 2.5m, and is probably an Anderson shelter, and this would have been for the use of the family living in the property. The site is centred on TG 5270 0346.
