A World War Two weapons pit is visible on aerial photographs on Bendish Avenue, Gorleston (S1). This is likely to have been associated with training activities within the area, see NHER 42351 and 42354 for similarly located weapons pits. The pit is located at TG 5279 0295 and consists of an irregular shaped pit, measuring 3m by 2m, surrounded by a bank of upcast material.
