A World War Two weapons pit is visible on aerial photographs on Gournay Avenue, Gorleston (S1). This is likely to have been associated with training activities within the area, see NHER 42346 and 42354 for similarly located weapons pits. The pit is located at TG 5284 0285 and consists of a roughly circular pit, measuring 3m cross, with a slight bank around the western edge.
