Summary

This village wayside cross was first erected in the 14th century. The original shaft survives but the majority of the base is a rendered brick 19th century restoration. The cross currently attached to the shaft is a 20th century Greek style one.

Village wayside cross.
Ashlar shaft and part of finial original and dating to the 14th century. The partly rendered brick pedestal is more modern (19th century) but incorporates the 14th century plinth. The moulded octagonal cap carries a 20th century Greek cross.
