1948. 274m (300 yds) northeast of ruins of Church.

Roman coarse pottery including mortar rim (see drawing) base of colander and omphalos base. Preserved at Mundford School.
Examined by R. R.Clarke (NCM) 1948.

1948. One sherd of horizontally furrowed decoration found 274m (300 yds) northeast of Colveston Church. Black paste burnished surface. Probably Early Saxon but might be Iron Age 'ABC'.
