Summary

A 17th century carstone and brick house with two additional wings dating to about 1900. The house has mid 18th century cast iron gates with Rococo details.

Map

17th century house with additions of about 1900 to north and northeast. Squared, coursed and rubble carstone, red brick dressings, red pantiled roofs. Original house 2 storeys with attics, garden front of 5 bays. 2 storey service wing at right angles and extensive northeast wing, both about 1900.
Gates and gate piers are also listed. Mid 18th century cast iron gates. Fine Rococco detail, segmental headed ends and rectangular centre, formerly opening independently, now as leaves. Gate piers brick with simple tiled copings about 1900 and not of special interest.
