Summary

A former school house built in 1837 which is now a private house. The building has an ogee shaped porch and a datestone inscribed 'SCEN R 1838'.

Listing Description:
Former School house, now house. Built 1837 for Mr Strickland Neville-Rolfe. Coursed ironstone rubble with brick dressings. Pantile roof with 2 brick gable stacks. Brick quoins. 2 storey, 3 bay with central doorway, and 20th century door plus 19th century iron lattice, ogee shaped porch flanked by single cross casements, all under segmental brick heads. Above a central plaque inscribed S.C.E.N - R 1838. Included for group value only.
