Summary

This pair of estate cottages date to the mid 19th century. They are built of carstone with red brick dressings, are one and a half storeys tall and have a plain tile roof.

Listing Description:
Pair of estate cottages, mid 19th century, small carstone with red brick dressings, plain tile roof, 4 bays 1 1/2 storeys; central axial stack with six linked shafts; bay 2 with gable to road; outer bays with doorways and ledged and battened doors; cast iron lattice glazing bars to casements, bays 2 and 3 to ground floor of 3 lights, bays 2 and 3 to 1st floor of 2 lights, that to bay 3 a gabled half dormer. Returns with double casements having cast iron lattice glazing bars to ground and 1st floor. Included as an unaltered example of mid 19th century estate cottages and for group value.
