Map

April 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Earthwork of a ditched linear feature, visible on Ordnance Survey aerial photographs from 1967 (S1). This site may represent three sides of a rectilinear enclosure, 31m by 23m. The ditch is 1 to 2m across. This possibly represents a small, enclosed area on the saltmarsh, probably post medieval in date. Although it is located on the Heacham common, it may be a stock enclosure of some sort.
S. Massey (NMP), 17 April 2002.
