Map

April 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Section of wall visible on 1953 RAF photography (S1). It is three sided, at least 7.5m by 5m. The structure looks like it could have suffered flood damaged. It is possible it just the shell of a beach hut, rather than of historical structure. No sign of any structure can be seen on the 1946 RAF photography so it may be that it is unlikely to be a World War Two military structure. However, the 1953 storms and floods moved a lot of beach material, recovering beach structure that were once covered or dug in.
S. Massey (NMP), 23 April 2002.
