Map

April 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmark of linear cropmarks of unknown date, visible on Ordnance Survey vertical aerial photographs from 1967 (S1). Group of quite sinuous linear features, ranging from 30m to 95m in length. They all appear to follow a similar alignment. At TF 6850 3539 is a very faint cropmark of what is possible three sides of a elongated rectilinear enclosure, although the marks are quite ephemeral. It appears to be at least 33m by 15m. These features may be related to the Late Iron Age – Roman settlement and field system sites to the immediate west and north, NHER 19279, although too little is visible to be certain.
S. Massey (NMP), 18 April 2002.
