Summary

This small flint and brick house was built in the first half of the 17th century. The brick façade may be original or may be 18th century. A prehistoric hammerstone was found inside the chimney of the house. January 2006. Found in fireplace during visit. Prehistoric flint hammerstone. Believed to have been part of collection of a previous owner.

Small end-stack flint and brick house of first half of 17th century. Original two storey pentise on north side structurally part of the house and containing two lumps of limestone. Brick façade may be original or may be 18th century – windows altered at latter date.

May 2006. Added to (S2) but described as early 18th rather than early 17th century [1]. The description is largely based on (S1) but omits the evidence for the façade having been altered.
