Summary

An extant World War Two pillbox is present to the south of the River Ant at North Walsham. It is polygonal, probably hexagonal in plan, but it is not clear whether it is a type 22 or type 24 pillbox.

A previously unrecorded extant World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S1-3). This pillbox is located at TG 3012 3046 on the south side of the River Ant. It has a polygonal, probably hexagonal, plan and is possibly a type 22 or type 24 pillbox.
