Summary

An archaeological watching brief at this location undertaken in 2006 revealed the remains of a medieval domestic waste pit. The pit contained medieval sherds and animal bones.

Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of single residential dwelling. Contexts 1-4 used.
The remains of a medieval domestic waste pit were revealed and indicated settlement evidence close to the parish church. Medieval sherds and animal bone were recovered from the fill of the pit.
