Summary

A cropmark of an undated linear ditch is visible on aerial photographs. Its alignment does not match that of field boundaries shown on a 1631 estate map of Sedgeford, but is similar to enclosure cropmarks further to the west (NHER 43372).

A cropmark of an undated linear ditch is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This cropmark is located at TF 7284 3573. A linear ditch cropmark extends for 75m on a west to east alignment between TF 7280 3573 and TF 7287 3573. The alignment of this ditch is similar to a group of rectilinear enclosures present 300m to the west (NHER 43372) but its date is unknown. It does not correspond to field boundaries shown on an estate map of Sedgeford dating to 1631 (S3).
