Full Description
March 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of an incomplete ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This cropmark is centred on TF 7020 3555. Just over half of the ring ditch is visible as a cropmark. It appears to be circular in plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 40m. This ring ditch is likely to be of Bronze Age date and probably relates to a round barrow. It lies on a north facing slope of a small dry valley at approximately 41m OD within the centre of a dispersed group of other ring ditch cropmarks (NHER 43395, 43396, 1622, 33599, 43392).
J. Albone (NMP), 16 March 2006.
