Summary

A cropmark of a double ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs. The outer ring ditch is not completely visible but appears to be sub-circular in plan. It has a narrow ditch with an external diameter of 43m. The inner ditch is complete and also has a sub-circular plan with a 4m wide ditch and an external diameter of 31m. It lies at the top of a north facing slope at approximately 39m OD. Other ring ditch cropmarks are present to the west and southwest forming a dispersed group (NHER 43394, 43395, 1622, 33599, 43392).

A cropmark of a double ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). This cropmark is located at TF 7050 3584. The outer ring ditch is not completely visible but appears to be sub-circular in plan. It has a narrow ditch with an external diameter of 43m. The inner ditch is complete and also has a sub-circular plan. It has a 4m wide ditch with an external diameter of 31m. It is likely that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a round barrow. It lies at the top of a north facing slope at approximately 39m OD. Other ring ditch cropmarks are present to the west and southwest forming a dispersed group (NHER 43394, 43395, 1622, 33599, 43392).
