Summary

Earthworks of a linear ditch and a small mound of possible medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs. An earthwork of a linear ditch is present on a roughly north to south alignment for 70m. This ditch does not correspond to any boundaries marked on a 1631 estate map of Sedgeford or any later maps. A small earthwork mound is present on its eastern side at its north end. This mound is sub-oval in plan and its function is uncertain. It is likely that both of these earthworks are of medieval to post medieval date.
