Summary

This rendered timber frame house was built in the 16th century and later. It was originally an open hall. The upper floor and chimney stack were inserted in the 17th century creating one and a half storeys. The building has been extended several times since. Inside there is a nice example of an 18th century fixed corner cupboard.

Dwelling and former shop. 16th century and later. Rendered timber frame on brick plinth. Flint and brick single storeyed lean-to extension to east gable end. Pantile roofs. Open hall with 17th century inserted floor and stack to form lobby entrance type plan. Later one bay extension to east with a further single-storeyed lean-to extension. One and a half storeys. Street facade.
