Summary

An undated rectangular cropmark can be seen on aerial photographs. The site has been partially destroyed by the Cut-Off Channel. Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered prehistoric worked flints and pieces of prehistoric, Roman and medieval pot.

1959 to 1960.
Rectangular cropmark at 7070 9432 on air photograph
Note on (S1).

5 February 1987. Fenland fieldwalking.
Well weathered ploughsoil..
Context 1 general scatter over field. MTW DC.
Odd frags of flint and prehistoric pot with one Samian. Chalk soil.
Also other Roman and medieval sherds.
