Woodland Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey. Baconsthorpe Wood, Site 6:
The remains of a military camp, including a filter bed and tank from the sewage works, the bases of buildings, a bunker, concrete roads and hard standings. This site may have been associated with the radar station at West Beckham (NHER 25012), and was in use until the late 1950s.
