Summary

A watching brief maintained during groundworks at this site in 2005 recorded no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. A small number of unstratified finds were recovered, including a prehistoric flint flake, medieval pottery and a fragment of post-medieval clay tobacco pipe.

Monitoring of groundworks associated with Attleborough Bypass A11 Improvement project.
No archaeologically-significant features or deposits observed.
Small number of unstratified finds recovered including:
1 prehistoric flint flake.
3 medieval pottery sherds (unglazed).
1 post-medieval clay pipe stem fragment.
