Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Series of parallel linear ditches running from TG 0864 4056 to TG 0852 4004, visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1) and OS aerial photographs from 1994 (S2). The ditches are approximately 4-5m apart and vary in width from 1-2.5m across. The cropmarks of the linears are quite interrupted, although only certain areas of the field appear to be conducive to cropmark formation. The clearest section of the ditch runs from TG 0863 4038 to TG 0856 4016, measuring 235m long. These ditches appear to mark the route of a trackway, the date of which is unknown.
S. Massey (NMP), 27 January 2003.
