Full Description
October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Structural remains of a building visible amongst World War Two structures on RAF aerial photographs from 1940 (S1). The building would have been rectangular in shape, measuring 27m by 17m. All that remains in 1940 are two parallel walls and a small stretch of returning wall. The building is depicted on the 2nd edition map (25 inch, 1902-7) (S2), although its plan is slightly less extensive. It is possible that the foundations were exposed more during World War One and Two activity on the site.
S. Massey (NMP), 20 March 2003.
