Map

December 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Earthwork bank and possible remains of square structure visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1). The bank is 37m long and 5m wide and runs from TG 0745 4388 to TG 0747 4391. Seemingly on top of or cut into this bank appears to be the base of a square structure at TG 0746 4390, measuring 3.5m across. The function and date of these features is unknown. It is possible that the bank was an existing feature which had a structure placed on top, possibly during World War Two. However the features may be contemporary.
S. Massey (NMP), 21 March 2003.
