Summary

In 2006 a metal-detectorist found a 15th or 16th century drop handle. It may have come from a chafing dish or from a piece of furniture. Further metal-detecting in 2009 recovered an Early Saxon enamelled brooch, medieval coins and post-medieval finds. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered medieval coins; ?Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval metal objects. Metal-detecting in 2011 recovered undated copper alloy casting waste, a medieval strap-end, medieval/post-medieval vessel fragment, post-medieval buckle, buttons, crotal bell and spoon.
