Full Description
May 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A probable World War Two bomb crater is visible as an earthwork and disturbed ground on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 5196 0562. The intended target may have been the railway line that once lay 50m to the east (NHER 13575). The crater may still be visible as a slight earthwork on more recent aerial photographs of the site taken in 1989 (S3).
S. Tremlett (NMP), 2 May 2006.
