Full Description
April 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of two parallel ditches, possibly field boundaries of medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 3153 8914. Two parallel ditches are present on a slightly curved roughly north to south alignment. They are spaced approximately 66m apart and extend for up to 192m. Their alignment is broadly parallel to that of a medieval to post medieval road, located to their west. It is possible that they are field boundaries of a similar date. These cropmarks cut across a coaxial field system of possible Roman date (NHER 43608).
