Summary

This dovecote dates to the mid 19th century. It is hexagonal in plan, built of brick and has a pantiled roof. The brick nest boxes and a swinging ladder survive inside.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Dovecote. Mid 19th century. Brick with pantiled roof. Elongated hexagon in plan. Door in south side under louvered timber tympanum below semi-circular brick arch. Corners articulated by flat brick buttressing rising to dentilled eaves cornice. Casement windows in alternate sides. Hipped roof."
