Summary

A mid 19th century house, formerly the west lodge for Merton Hall (NHER 8956). It is built of flint with gault brick dressings and has one storey, a dormer attic and a corrugated tile roof.

Listing Description:
West lodge to Merton Hall, now private house. Mid 19th century. Flint with gault brick dressings and corrugated tile roof. One storey and dormer attic. Brick plinth. Two 3-light brick cross mullioned casements to ground floor with pediments. Central brick pier. Two gabled dormers through eaves with brick casements and bargeboards. Two similar windows to west wall, ground floor pedimented. Gabled roof with central twin shafted square stack. Mid 20th century outshut abuts rear under eaves.
