Summary

Prehistoric flints, fragments of Roman pottery and tile, a medieval pewter plate and fragments of post medieval pottery and other finds of unknown date found during excavations for a new lake near West Hall.

Selection of bones, pottery, metal objects, some worked flints.
Range of date: 'up to medieval/post medieval.'
Medieval pewter plate (15th to 16th century).
3 Roman coarse ware sherds (2 from large storage jars).
?Roman tile fragments.
Green-glazed post medieval sherd.
Grooved millstones.
(Also wooden objects and animal bones not kept).
