Summary

An early 19th century flint and brick house with sash windows and a raised verandah. The roof is supported by fluted columns, and there is a central flight of steps from ground level to the verandah.

House. Early 19th century. Flint with gault brick dressings. Slate roofs. Single storeyed with basement to front block, 2-storeyed to rear. 5-bay façade of sash windows with glazing-bars beneath segmental arches. Central 3 bays recessed forming a raised verandah. A pair of windows (one blind) in returns. The uninterrupted roof is supported on 2 fluted columns and 2 engaged half columns with abaci and no'capitals or bases. 2-leaf panelled front door. Central flight of steps up from ground level to verandah. Hipped roof and central axial stack. Contemporary block to rear.
