Summary

This rendered, timber-framed farmhouse was built in the 17th century and later. It was originally laid out in a lobby entrance plan. Inside are two fine 18th-century corner cupboards.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Former Lobby Entrance type farmhouse. 17th century and later. Rendered timber frame with some brick re-facing. Pantiled roof. One and half storeys. Four 18th-century windows with metal casements. Doorway formerly opposite stack with raised and fielded panelled door re-positioned at north-eastern end...Off-centre axial stack. Shallow-pitched roof probably 18th century. Later gabled extensions to rear. Stair to former entrance side of stack. Fine fireplace lintel at first floor with cambered soffit and carved border decoration. Two fine 18th-century corner cupboards. Re-used clasped truss in extension roof. Stepped chamfer stops."
