Full Description
June 2006. Norfolk NMP
A group of curvilinear and linear ditch cropmarks are visible aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TM 3277 9272. A total of seven sections of ditch cropmark are present, none of which relate to the modern field pattern. Two ditches in the centre of the group at TM 3277 9269 appear to form two sides of an incomplete polygonal enclosure. Its visible extent suggests that it has a triangular plan with a possibly trackway defined entrance at its northern end. Two other parallel ditch cropmarks, possibly also part of a trackway, are present to the northwest.
J. Albone (NMP), 27 June 2006
