Map

July 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A group of undated linear ditch cropmarks are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These earthworks are centred on TM 3494 9277. A total of nine sections of linear ditch cropmark are visible. The majority of these have a roughly southwest to northeast alignment that matches that of the modern field pattern. Two of the ditches have an L-shaped plan suggesting that they are the corners of enclosures, but they are two fragmentary for any further interpretation. It is possible that some of these ditch cropmarks relate to field boundaries but their date is unknown.
