Full Description
Large barrow west of Hopton House on boundary bank.
Trig point on mound.
See (S1).
R.R. Clarke (NCM)
Edges badly damaged, mound grassed, with telegraph post in centre.
35m diameter, 1.8m high.

Found on ploughed ground beside barrow by J. J. Wymer (NAU):
Prehistoric worked flints. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1986.226). Listed in an accompanying note as:
4 Mesolithic blades, 1 denticulated blade segment, 1 end scraper and 1 small two-platform core.
5 Mesolithic/Neolithic flakes (only largest patinated).

Holes dug by military for anti tank gun position to northeast and southwest of the barrow, just outside the concrete
markers. No sections visible due to shuttering. Around 1m deep, 1m wide and 3 to 4m long.
