Summary

To the east of Eastmere Farm, an old map shows an L-shaped pond, perhaps part of a medieval moat. No trace can now be seen and the farm is ruined.

Map

East of Eastmere Farm Ordnance Survey shows an L-shaped pond, perhaps part of a moat. No trace now and farm ruined.

The farm itself is shown on an old photograph at West Tofts Camp as having a mullioned and transomed window with pediment on the upper floor, and a triple stack at one end; 16th or 17th century.
